Pro:Motion Game™ – Healthy Gamepad by Smartfish
After the announcement of the orthopedic mouse and keyboard release, the Smartfish company comes out with another product – their Pro:Motion Game™ ergonomic gamepad.
As the manufacturer claims this is the first gamepad in the world that is not only comfortable, but also harmless for the hands and wrists. The controller analyzes the player’s hands position and if it concludes that this position is not “healthy” enough it automatically adjusts it to a better height, angle and axis to suit the hands position.
Along with the other Smartfish products, the Pro:Motion Game™ gamepad is designated for prophylaxis of wrists ailments, including the widespread carpal tunnel syndrome. The gamepad was designed in cooperation with the orthopedic department of the New-York Hospital for Special Surgery.
Pro:Motion Game™ works with Windows XP and Windows Vista or with Max OS X. The controller has warranty of 5 years. The price and exact date the product will be released have not been announced yet, but we can assume that the Pro:Motion Game™ will not be among the low price devices and most probably it will become available after the planned by Smartfish market release of the orthopedic keyboard and mouse in August.
